THE OBJECTIVES OF CPR+AED
This course aims to empower each trainee to step forward and perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when needed. It will enable anyone to confidently and comeptently perform CPR and operate the AED.
- To understand rescuer's role in the "chain of survival".
- To be able to perform CPR and operate AED competently and safely.
Trainees will be trained according to the guidelines set by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) and a certificate will be awarded upon successfully completing the assessments. Certificate is valid for 2 years.
ASSESSMENTS
Trainee had to undergo Theory and Practical Assessments.
Theory: MCQ - 80% - 2 attempts
Practical: 100% - 3 attempts
